is Kamala Harris the next Howard Dean on a higher level?

Gotta love her position, commentary and speeches; but why lose a US Senate vote? Guess what JG aka Jeffersons Ghost still wants a real patriot to become president; just like this supporter of the ENTIRE U.S. Constitution, when I joined DU, way back when "W" ran for his second term of destroying civil liberties and the US Justice system.

She's from California. Why do you think another Democrat wouldn't replace her? n/t pnwmom Feb 2019 #1
I personally like the idea of a Senator as the pick for VP, since they will govern that body pecosbob Feb 2019 #2

As an avowed leftist I have always considered the Senate the next thing to a rubber stamp for corporations and millionaires (Ms. Warren's delightful presence there notwithstanding). I personally would much rather see someone not of the Senate run for President. Not even to mention that taking back the Senate is probably more important than the Presidency.

Sorry, but I just don't feel that a seated U.S. Senator is going to blow up the status quo, and if you're in the botton quartile of the economy like me, the status quo really sucks.
