Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders will appear in a town hall later this month on Fox News the same network thats being boycotted by the Democratic National Committees debate team.
Sanders (I VT) will talk economics and jobs in the hour-long discussion on April 15 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a former steel city in the perennial battleground state.
The self-described Democratic socialist failed to win the DNCs backing in the 2016 presidential race, but is off to a fast start in the run-up to 2020, pacing a crowded field of candidates by collecting $18.2 million in contributions in 41 days.
Last month, the DNC announced that none of a dozen Democratic presidential debates had been awarded to Fox, claiming it was too close to the GOP to host a fair and neutral debate.
The town hall will air live from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and be co-anchored by Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
