6 Miles: Life and Death

Published on Aug 8, 2019
Sen. Bernie Sanders took a bus of American diabetics across the border from Detroit to Windsor, Canada, to buy insulin at one-tenth the price. For many on the bus, that 6 mile drive was the difference between life and death, the difference between living without fear of running out of insulin and cutting off electricity to afford it.

Thanks for sharing this!

I was eager for the campaign to cut a short film about the trip to Windsor, ON. I had seen some coverage but this video gets the job done.

Medicare For All corrects this deadly outrage. The public option doesn't. Period!
