'This is B.S.': Maddow shreds 'cravenness' of Supreme Court delaying Trump trial - All In - MSNBC

"This is B.S.—you were doing this as a dilatory tactic to help your political friend," says Rachel Maddow on the Supreme Court agreeing to hear the Trump immunity argument, delaying his coup trial. "And for you to say that this is something that the Court needs to decide because it's something that's unclear in the law is just flagrant, flagrant bullpucky." - Aired on 02/28/2024.

I love RACHEL .... She should be a judge. Trueblue1968 Feb 28 #1
And Rachel made perfect sense, if SCOTUS rules that TFG has "immunity" while POTUS, he would never leave office Rhiannon12866 Feb 29 #11
Wow, she told them all, including Lawrence. Joinfortmill Feb 28 #2

I find it hard to believe anyone seriously thinks tfg is patriotic. SleeplessinSoCal Feb 29 #6
That's the thing! How can anyone who has listened to his attacks and rants think he's qualified to lead the country?? Rhiannon12866 Feb 29 #9
Flagrant bullpucky. sheshe2 Feb 29 #5
She no doubt thought it, but she'd likely have been bleeped on MSNBC Rhiannon12866 Feb 29 #7

So he needs to lose "bigly" if he is the nominee.

Every day our democracy slips farther away. And this new gilded age of kleptocrats are fine with it.

It's sickening.

I was talking with a friend earlier today and we were pretty sure that SCOTUS would let the immunity decision stand - and then I came home and heard the news. I've felt nauseous ever since.

Or that the new Republican Party is beholding to the rules and the rule of law. They aren't. They put us all in danger and then celebrate.

An attorney on MSNBC recently said that TFG's lawyers could plead "diminished capacity" which would land him somewhere other than jail - but he also said that they won't, more's the pity. Though anyone else with his string of crimes and sedition, attempting to overthrow the government, would hardly be still waking free as he is. And we know what happened to the Rosenbergs.

Although I did hear Nicolle Wallace use the word "sh**" once - and late last night an older female Biden Michigan primary voter they interviewed called TFG "an ass****." LOL!

I'm young enough, and lived in Washington DC in 1974 and saw all of this happening.

To this day I'm bothered that Dick Nixon did not die in jail.

Whenever I watch his resignation speech I'm terrified that at the end he'll say "I'm not a quitter, and I'm not quitting now."

Thank whatever deities there are, that never happens. He always resigns.
