SCOTUS torn on 'shooting device so horrifying even Trump wanted it banned' - All In - MSNBC

Imagine a shooting device so horrifying that the Trump administration wanted it banned. You know who doesn’t? The pro-gun right, which sued the ATF over its Trump-era ruling. Now it’s over to the Supreme Court. McKay Coppins joins to discuss. - Aired on 03/01/2024.

How are bump stocks any different. So it’s an external modication? Still altering how the gun shoots.

And bumpstocks don't meet that definition. The gun is still firing semi automaticlly, just really fast. They definitely need to be banned, but doing so would require a new law.
