Related: About this forumWhy do the rules, the laws, and the Constitution apply differently to Donald Trump? Here's why. - Glenn Kirschner
There can be no reasonable dispute but that the institutions of government - particularly the Department of Justice - apply the rules, the laws, and the Constitution differently to Donald Trump than to the rest of us. And we are forever asking ourselves . . . why?
I try to take on that question by drawing from my decades of experience at the Department of Justice. - Glenn Kirschner - 03/27/2024.

Especially for TFG. He should have been "detained" long ago to prevent further attacks and incitement

And the judges are the main ones he's attacking - and their families! - no matter what they do...

The rules are different for the rich and powerful.

Like his fellow insurrectionists, but he still walks free, even though he's "out on bail," resulting in even more attacks and incitement of his deluded "supporters."

(47,107 posts)5. Yes the criminal justice system has been a major disappointment.
They just do not want to go after Trump.
They are afraid of him.

You'd think they'd be the first ones to want to shut him up.

(47,107 posts)7. Two judges did put Trump on a gag order after he attacked
their family or staff.
So when it hits close to home they will act.
But I guess they don't care about witnesses, the jury or the prosecutors.

but he now realizes what is happening.

I have a lot of respect for Glenn Kirschner, and I've learned something from every one his daily videos.
I think he's getting discouraged with the DoJ and certain members of the judiciary. In this case he can't say much about the NYS Appellate Court bench, but he's definitely disappointed in their decision on Monday.
Since the federal and state judiciaries are too timid to take real, bold steps against Chump, Mr. Kirschner tells us that we all need to go to the polls and vote Chump down in numbers so large that they cannot be disputed, rigged, or recalibrated in the future.
If you can, I suggest that you listen to this entire video. If you don't have time, this is the take-away: It's up to us. We all have to do our part and make sure Chump never sets foot in the White House again. Ever.
That's a challenge that I'm happy to accept. I believe we all are.
