Did Ukraine ever receive the Javelin missiles...?

To protect themselves from Russian tanks?

Or did the White House refuse to release the Javelins, because it might piss off Putin?

If they did not receive the Javelins, how safe is Ukraine from a Russian attack?

Is it fair to say that the assistance for Ukraine was never actually released?

What is the truth about this matter?

What would happen if the Democrats added obstruction of justice charges to Articles of Impeachment?

What would happen if the Obstruction of Justice charges were from the Mueller Report??

If the Senate was forced to address all the Articles of Impeachment, what would happen when they had to address the evidence given to Mueller by Don McGahn and Corey Lewandowski? Would they be forced to call them before the Senate as witnesses??

Could the Democrats make that demand? Those witnesses must be questioned.

What do the Republicans do then?

November 12, 2019

Democrats need to be very patient at this time.

Especially with the Republicans. Their egos are very fragile.

They have been politically traumatized by their leader.

There seems to be no bottom in which they are not inclined to accept? Is it really OK to bribe another foreign leader to assist in your own campaign? How much criminal behavior is "inappropriate" but acceptable? Is it OK to pay people off, even if it is only an adult film star?

Reality has a way of turning around and biting you on the ass. That's the way life is.

Denial can only work for a time and the truth cannot be smothered forever.

Sooner or later, it will break the surface of the cold water and take a huge gasp of air.

Our country is easily divided.

Unfortunately, we have many cultural divides and a history that makes it difficult to unite this country.

It makes it almost impossible when the Commander in Chief uses division as a political weapon. Divide the nation between "them" and "us".

Knowingly or not, he is sabotaging our government to outside forces.

Is there anything that can unite the country at this time?

A judge is going to make a decision at 5:00 pm this evening.

About Mulvaney wanting to join the "appeal" with Kupperman and Bolton.

What is he going to rule?

Political Warfare

Behind the curtains, there is partisan warfare. How could there not be?

Mr Trump is attempting to get his herd of elephants all going in one way. But some seem hesitant in joining a stampede?

Ms Pelosi has most of the Democrats on her side. It's not so much about whether there will be an impeachment, as much as when will it be?

Mr Trump continues to break the law, by demanding all witnesses from the White House ignore all requests and subpoenas. That is not legal and it is the Congress that writes the laws. The Courts may yet have to decide?

Mr Trump plans on hosting Mr Erdogan of Turkey on Wednesday, the day the networks planned on showing the opening of the impeachment inquiry. Will the networks cut away from the hearing for a press conference between the two leaders? That is to be seen.

When the Articles are passed on to the Senate, it will be the responsibility of Mitch McConnell to make a decision whether to have a fair trial, or to rush it thru with a minimum of witnesses? That would be a huge gamble. Simply because no one knows what else is going to come forward in this counter-intelligence scandal?

Yes, there is collusion. There was collusion all along. The lies are being exposed, slowly but surely.

Will the majority of Republicans rush into a decision so momentous? So necessary for the future health of our democracy?

Or will they treat it with the urgency and importance the people of this country deserve?

The people are growing tired of the drama and the chaos and the incompetence of our leaders, if not already there?

Do Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer even talk to each other? Is it too much to ask for a little bi-partisanship at this crucial time in our history?

It would be "inappropriate" to shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave.

Especially if it was Donald Trump doing the shooting.

It would be "inappropriate" but not impeachable.

After all, we would need to know why he shot him?

Also, we would need to know if the victim was a "Never Trumper"?

Or if the victim had voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016?

No doubt, the Democrats would attempt to make it a "partisan issue".

They don't have the right to over-rule the will of the people.

Oh yes! Republicans believe it is "inappropriate" but it just doesn't reach the level of impeachment.

The political strategy of waiting for a judge to make a decision.

Kupperman, Bolton, and Mulvaney have taken their case to a judge. They want someone to decide for them if they should respond to a request or a subpoena to appear before the Congress. Their president is telling them not to appear.

The Committee is refusing to get in a court battle with Donald Trump. What's to say if the judge tells them they have a duty to respond to the Congressional subpoena but they decide to appeal to the Appeals Court?

It would be nothing but a delay. Democrats may be finished with Articles of Impeachment by December 10th, whatever the judge might rule.

Both Parties are strategizing around this date, in my opinion.

However much the dread, the Democrats have to impeach.

They have to defend our Constitution and our rule of law.

Just as you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink, so it is with the Republicans that stand behind Mr Trump. It is their decision whether to defend Mr Trump over our Constitution. It is their decision whether to approach the process in a serious, conscientious way or to attack it as nothing more than partisan politics. That is their choice.

The Democrats have no other choice. They must do their duty and hold this White House accountable, within their power to do so. They do not have the power to convict. That is up to the Republican-majority Senate. They can ignore the Constitution and the rule of law if they choose.

Both Parties will have to defend their positions in the next election. Democrats understand that. I am not sure that Republicans yet understand that?

Much can happen in a year with an unpredictable Commander-in-Chief and a corrupt White House. The situation and circumstances could be much different in November of 2020? But the Democrats will be ready to defend their position.
