Drumpf professes his innocence but doesn't act innocent.

That is probably familiar behavior amongst all criminals?

"I did nothing!", he screams.

But he fights down to the last minute to hide the evidence and facts against himself.

One might think someone looking for the job of the presidency would want to clear his name of such serious charges?

But not this guy.

One doesn't have to be a genius to see what he is doing.

S.H.I.T.

Manure:

In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything for export had to be transported by ship. It was also before the invention of commercial fertilizers, so large shipments of manure were quite common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet.

Once water (at sea) hit it, not only did it become heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by-product is methane gas. As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOM!

Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening.
After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the instruction: 'Stow high in transit' on them, which meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this "volatile" cargo and start the production of methane.
The instruction was naturally shortened to the stamp ' S.H.I.T ', (Stow High In Transit)

So it’s really not a swear word, but has come down through the centuries, and is in use to this very day.

You probably did not know the true history of this word.

Neither did I.

Republicans, starting with the House, decided to make Trump's crimes a political issue.

Then, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans, decided to follow along. They would defend Donald Trump to the last man and woman. They would not let the "Democrats" defeat the Leader of their Party. Facts and evidence be damned! The country be damned. The Constitution be damned. They decided to protect their Party and their Leader at all costs.

They could have disqualified him from running again and they and the country would have been better off right now. But that was not possible for them to do.

Perhaps they thought it would all pass in a few days or weeks, like most stories that come up in our national media? But, almost four years later, the crimes of their Leader have not disappeared. Republicans have done everything possible, including creative lying, to make it all go away. But it is a story that refuses to die.

An attempted coup, actually a continuing coup, continues to corrupt our institutions and the rule of law every single day.

Perhaps the next election will make it all go away?

The Justice system has decided to let the people determine the fate of Donald Trump?

There will be no trials before the next election.

But, the voters will not be armed with the same evidence as a criminal trial jury. They will not all know what they are voting for or against?

IF Trump wins, then he will not be held liable for his criminal acts. It's as simple as that.

The voters will have decided, instead of a jury.

Doesn't that seem very odd to you?

Stop the Charade!

Color me cynical.

Stop saying that no one is above the law. We can see that is not the case. The Mob, along with their Republican friends, are going to win or steal the next election. Either way, they are going to be in power.

The three branches of government are like the three little houses where the Three Little Pigs lived. The Big Bad Wolf was able to blow the executive and legislative houses down very easily. But, we all thought the Judicial Branch, the little brick house, would save us. Little did we know that the little brick house had a secret door where the Mob and his friends could enter and exit at will.

I am sorry that I am so cynical, but it seems like it has already been fixed and covered up.

Has Trump finally gone one-step too far with many Republican voters?

They were OK with all the shit he has said and done up to this point.

But, when his daughter-in-law was put in charge of the RNC and announced that all the money donated to the Party would go to the re-election of Donald Trump, it finally grabbed their attention.

It's OK to install an authoritarian government and to burn down the Capitol, but don't take their money.

They cannot stomach the idea that Donald Trump will take all the money and leave them none. They do not believe his coattails are enough to keep them in power.

Could this have been the straw that broke the elephant's back?

Trump has his first candidate to be his next Attorney-General...

None other than the former Special Counsel, Robert Hur.

He would help Trump shut down any and all investigations, would be my opinion.

When asked by a Congressman at his hearing, if he would take a position in a new Trump Administration, he just smiled and refused to answer.

Isn't it about time to send a company of FBI agents to Mar-a-lago and put him in custody? This whole "rule of law" thing is taking way too long.

Now that the nominees have been chosen...

Does that mean that there will be no prosecutions before the election?

How does that change the present picture?

Does that mean that the "American people" have decided to just let "democracy" work?

Will "democracy" lose to authoritarianism?

Is this the way a "democracy" is supposed to work?

Trump inherited a really good economy from Barack Obama.

Then immediately proceeded to overheat it with a two-trillion dollar taxcut.

Yes, the unemployment level dropped a little further. They had to invest their taxcuts somewhere.

But there were consequences to such a huge taxcut during prosperous times. It was a big part of the reason for the ensuing inflation. It was Economics 101.

Unfortunately for Trump, his "great" economy only lasted three years. Once the pandemic hit and businesses shut down, he was lost as to what to do? His incompetence shone thru.

Bottom line, his "great" economy was just another part of his "Big Lie".

The photo we have all seen a thousand times...

A photo of the boxes of documents in the bathroom at Mar-a-Lago.

On one box, on the left of the stacks of boxes, it is handwritten, "M-A-L Bedroom"?

Was that box supposed to go to the bedroom at Mar-a-Lago and was misplaced with the other boxes? Was it later moved? Was it one of the boxes that went to the Golf Course in NJ?

In my opinion, it was a little strange to have that one box labeled and none of the others.

Was it stacked there by mistake?
