This is like the third time you’ve jumped on me about some imagined slight on atheists. 
I’m calling them hypocrites because I’ve read the fucking Bible and they don’t follow any of the teachings of Jesus. Take it down a notch, dude. Not every post is about you.
The climate predictions of the sixties and seventies are all playing out.
Much is happening faster than predicted. This response sounds weirdly antiscience.

I am an atheist with an MDiv and I have no fucking problem with it.
I have no problem with people using the Lord's name in vain. I do have a problem with people who use Jesus' name to try to shame people.
If you thought it was that offensive you should have alerted on it instead of tone-policing by yourself. And your post says, "How dare you!" which sounds like your own feelings about Jesus were challenged. But you say you're an atheist who assumes the outrage of conservative fundamentalist Christians to tone-police a secular Democratic website's user because you want a gentler, kinder world?

First of all, I'm an atheist.
Second of all, thanks for making groundless assumptions about a stranger on the internet.
Third: Have you ever read the Bible? I have a MDiv and understand these people very well. I fully know what the Bible reports Jesus said about how his followers should act as opposed to the fantasy Rambo MFing Jesus these freaks worship.
Fourth: I basically presented this story as an imagined Hollywood blockbuster movie about instant karma on bigots. It didn’t pretend to be moored to any theology or worldview. Sorry to have offended you for absolutely no reason. 👍🏼
While there are plenty of 16 year olds capable of
doing all kinds of work, there are many, many more who absolutely should not be operating heavy machinery. The people replying in this thread saying how they babysat or flipped burgers are comparing apples to oranges. I was a hot mess at 16, and I work with teens at my job now. I’d estimate less than a third of them would have the focus and maturity to work in a hazardous job.
I'm convinced Lieberman on the 2000 ticket
is what made so many jump ship to Nader. Gore is awesome but pandering to the middle right (at that time) by choosing Lieberman-the-überDINO did the party no long or short term favors. It looked as though the Democrats were moving the party to the right in terms of military-industrial spending, which is something Lieberman was really into. CT was at that time heavily invested in military equipment, particularly aircraft.
Please note: this post doesn’t claim that Gore lost because of Nader. Because he didn’t. He didn’t become president because the SCOTUS stole his presidency and gave it to a bonafide puppet ruled by a war criminal (Cheney).
This should have been thrown out because she probably falsified the basis of her complaint.

I don't know the history but common sense suggests it was formed outside the government to be an independent authority on educational standards, exactly so the government can't push propaganda onto college campuses. Which is, of course, what DeSatan wants to do.
Learned yesterday that my coworker is a Trump Humper.
I just started this job last month. Was chatting with one of my coworkers who told me the myriad investigations into Trump were a witch hunt. Anyway, it bugged me all night long, and then I came in this morning and she told me the story of how her parents met: they were first cousins who had to get permission from the state to marry. Now, I'm not saying all Trump supporters are inbred, but it sure explains this woman's opinions.
