Washington — Rep. Mike Turner, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee on Sunday derided a group of lawmakers that he says have continued to "stop everything" in Congress amid opposition toward additional aid to Ukraine and a possible effort to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson.
"Unfortunately, the chaos caucus has continued to want to stop everything that occurs in Congress," the Ohio Republican said on "Face the Nation" on Sunday. "It's not as if they have an alternative plan, they're just against those things that are necessary that we're doing."
Greene, a Georgia Republican, filed a motion to vacate earlier this month, teasing a possible vote to oust Johnson. That effort could gain steam should Johnson bring up a vote on funding for Ukraine. But it remains unclear whether there's enough political will among the House GOP conference more broadly to oust and replace another speaker.

The Justice Department announced today that its long-running investigation into international commodities trading companies that paid bribes to win business with state-owned and state-controlled oil companies in Latin America and Africa has resulted in six corporate resolutions, 20 convictions of individuals, and total fines, forfeitures, and other penalties of more than $1.7 billion.
Since 2017, the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Unit, in partnership with U.S. Attorneys’ Offices across the country, the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section, and the FBI, has been investigating corruption committed by international commodities trading companies, which paid millions of dollars in bribes to corrupt government officials to secure billions of dollars in business with state-owned enterprises.
Through this work, the Criminal Division has entered into six corporate resolutions, which have included mandatory cooperation, disclosure, and compliance obligations and resulted in total fines, forfeitures, and other penalties of more than $1.7 billion:

If social media can no longer moderate content in the
First Amendment case in front of the Supreme Court today, which of us on the DU are going to infiltrate GOP websites? Should we co-ordinate our underground attacks? First topic we should share in the Republican bubble is that Sinclair Media surveys people once a year and asks what people are most afraid of and then spoonfeed the public that fear, of say, crime, all year long to make Biden look bad. Year after year they do this. I'm sure MAGA base would like to know this.
If 500 of us picked one topic a week and flooded them with info on it they would no longer be in a bubble. Next week it could be Trump's plans to do away with Obamacare. One topic a week. None of them could get away from the light/truth. Or we could have the Democratic Party Come up with a topic a week for Dems to infiltrate right wing websites with. 100,000 of people could be involved.
