Michigan Primary vote.

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump won the Michigan primaries on Tuesday, further solidifying the all-but-certain rematch between the two men.

Biden defeated Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, his one significant opponent left in the Democratic primary. But Democrats were also closely watching the results of the “uncommitted” vote, as Michigan has become the epicenter for dissatisfied members of Biden’s coalition that propelled him to victory in the state — and nationally — in 2020. The number of “uncommitted” votes has already far surpassed the 10,000-vote margin by which Trump won Michigan in 2016, a goal set by organizers of this year’s protest effort.

As for Trump, he has now swept the first five states on the Republican primary calendar. His victory in Michigan over his last major primary challenger, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, comes after the former president defeated her by 20 percentage points in her home state of South Carolina on Saturday. The Trump campaign is looking to lock up the 1,215 delegates needed to secure the Republican nomination sometime in mid-March.

Was 72 out and I went for a 4 mile walk.
Ran into a couple walking a 3 legged dog. Got to talking and he was also a long time UAW retiree too. Had such a good talk his wife gave a kiss.

A consequentialist ethical system
Secular humanists hold that ethics is consequential, to be judged by results. This is in contrast to so-called command ethics, in which right and wrong are defined in advance and attributed to divine authority. “No god will save us,” declared Humanist Manifesto II (1973), “we must save ourselves.” Secular humanists seek to develop and improve their ethical principles by examining the results they yield in the lives of real men and women.

Today in Michigan the Right to Work

law is repealed.
Big victory for workers. Thanks our great Governor.

Moved out of the mall at the start of the year.

As luck would have it a new smaller mall is opening up only 3 miles away. The last one was almost 70 miles each way.

Folks opening up this one are extra nice. Asked if they take consignments and they do and only take 25%. No longer have that monthly rent. Lady seems to like the same things I do. I just want to unload stuff.
Making life simple at this point.
