RoboRon is the new torchbearer for the DeSantis campaign.
It's a "no boots" campaign reboot. And lookit them claws! Nobody is going to make fun of this candidate for small hands either! RoboRon is an honest-to-white-Jesus woke warrior.
Jim Jordan stumbles over the truth.
Questioned about his remark later, Jordan claimed it was "just locker room talk."
The drunk uncle defense- he's OUR traitor.
The Republican presidential primary is heating up for everyone not named Donald Trump. Under a thin veneer of faux outrage, candidates are positively giddy about their burgeoning prospects. They are unburdened by the near certainty that Trump engaged in seditious behavior.
Pardons for crimes as yet unknown? Of course. Retroactive carte blanche is on offer.
Charges of weaponized prosecutions by the DOJ? Of course. Holy Benghazi, Batman!
About all those documents: Donald Trump doesn't read...
This from an article in the Atlantic in 2018:
...how little Donald Trump reads. While, like many of the tendencies described in Michael Wolffs Fire and Fury, Trumps indifference to the printed word has been apparent for some time, the depth and implications of Trumps strong preference for oral communication over the written word demand closer examination.
He didnt process information in any conventional sense, Wolff writes. He didnt read. He didnt really even skim. Some believed that for all practical purposes he was no more than semi-literate.
Wolff quotes economic adviser Gary Cohn writing in an email: Its worse than you can imagine Trump wont read anythingnot one-page memos, not the brief policy papers, nothing. He gets up halfway through meetings with world leaders because he is bored.
If Trump had no interest in reading the documents himself...

Why Florida bans books.
Woke mind virus breakthrough!
@RealRonaldDeSantis confirms the discovery of the first documented case of infection by the woke mind virus. Sidekick Elon was heard to mutter "We keep trying to kill the son of a bitch."
The debt ceiling scam
The (former) guy and his friends didn't pay their tab but they did leave a nice tip for the staff.
Ron DeSantis has an important announcement.
Ron DeSantis offered America another "look at me" moment on the first anniversary of the Uvalde massacre. It's one more pathetic act of bush league spite from Florida's governor.
Florida religious leaders denounce DeSantis' years long pause of Civil Rights Hall of Fame induction
Source: Tallahassee Democrat
TALLAHASSEE Every year for nearly a decade, three names were added to the Florida Civil Rights Hall of Fame, to honor those who've made significant contributions in the fight for equality and justice for all.
It's in state law: the Commission on Human Relations shall recommend up to 10 people for selection, and the governor shall select up to three of them. Their names and portraits are put up in a corner beside the Capitol entrance.
But that hasn't happened since 2019, Gov. Ron DeSantis' first year in office. Some Florida religious leaders, joined by local government and nonprofit officials, gathered on Thursday afternoon in front of the Civil Rights Hall of Fame, which is located neared the entrance of the Capitol building, and demanded to know why.
...
Rev. Dr. R.B. Holmes Jr., pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, said, "My beloved governor has not, since 2019, [picked] through the Human Relations Commission names to be on the Florida Civil Rights Hall of Fame.

DeSantis is not one to pass up an opportunity to blow a racist dog whistle. Here he combines racism with hypocrisy as his staff cited Covid restrictions as a reason for his inaction. It's a lowlife twofer.
