CHICAGO (AP) — The Texas Rangers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death in a Texas county jail cell of a 28-year-old woman with ties to the Chicago area.
Sandra Bland was found dead Monday morning in a jail cell in Waller County, about 60 miles from Houston. Texas authorities who performed an autopsy on Tuesday classified her death as suicide by hanging, according to the Chicago Tribune (http://trib.in/1MuOHXf ). She had been arrested Friday in the county on a charge of assaulting a public servant.
Waller County District Attorney Elton Mathis said Bland had traveled from Illinois to start a new job in Texas.
Mathis said the Texas Rangers would conduct a thorough investigation.
"I understand there's some disbelief among some friends and family that she would do this to herself," Mathis said.

PERSONAL NOTE: I agree that Fox is a fraudulent news service, but I disagree with Jane Kim about immigration having nothing to do with the case. ICE should have been notified that a violent criminal with five previous deportations was about to be released.San Francisco’s city officials have no time for Fox News’ latest attempt to gin up anti-immigrant hysteria over the alleged murder of a white American woman by an undocumented immigrant.
Bill O’Reilly sent one of his employees to ambush different members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, accusing them of enabling the murder of Kate Steinle by declaring the city a “sanctuary city” where undocumented workers can access health care, police and fire assistance and other public services without fear of deportation or other forms of government reprisal.
City Supervisor and human rights attorney Jane Kim told the Fox representative that the issue at play in Kate Steinle’s death isn’t immigration, but gun control, and how to keep weapons out of the hands of felons and the mentally ill.
Katy Tang, on the other hand, excoriated the microphone-wielding Fox employee for ambushing her and accusing her of complicity in a murder.
“Of course Fox News would be this rude,” she said, turning to walk away. When he chased her and continued to pepper her with questions about her role in the death of Kate Steinle, she said, “You’re interviewing the wrong fucking person.”
Scott Wiener didn’t even break his stride as he made his way to his office.
“Fox News is not real news,” Wiener said calmly. “And you’re not a real reporter. I talk to real news only.”

3 - She will definitely kick butt. Yung practiced martial arts for about a decade when she was younger and has a black belt.
She started taking classes when she was younger because of the rough, Paris neighborhood she grew up in, according to an interview she gave with Audrey magazine.

Tilda Swinton Confirms role in ‘Doctor Strange’
Screen Crush recently interviewed actress Tilda Swinton on the news that she was in talks to play The Ancient One in Marvel’s Doctor Strange alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.
“We’re so far in talks that we’re not talking any more [laughs]. It’s done. The conversation has been had.”
She was also asked what intrigued her with the role and she stated:
“Well, there’s no particular interest in getting into something bigger, or even smaller, I just really liked the premise of this and the idea of playing this character. I’m a Marvel fan and I think this particular world that Doctor Strange goes into is really, really, really exciting. I’m really interested as both an actor and a fan to see what’s done in this particular world. It’s all about creativity. It’s not about everything exploding at the end. It’s about something very different. The idea of playing The Ancient One is really just too tickling. I can’t say no to that!”

Florida Woman arrested for beating partner with dildo.
A Florida woman is facing a domestic battery charge after allegedly using a dildo to batter her female domestic partner during a fight in the couple’s residence, police allege.
The confrontation Saturday evening occurred while a Clearwater Police Department officer was inside the home of Annette Kielhurn, 57, and Gamze Capaner-Ridley.
The cop was present to oversee Capaner-Ridley’s removal of personal belongings from the house, a move apparently prompted by Capaner-Ridley’s filing the prior day for a civil domestic violence injunction against Kielhurn.
After the women tussled over possession of a dress, Officer Eric Blomgren directed Kielhurn not to touch the 47-year-old Capaner-Ridley. However, “Shortly afterwards the defendant intentionally shoved a ‘dildo’ in the victim’s face and grabbed her right arm while arguing whose it belonged to,” Blomgren reported.

Iran and six major powers have reached a historic nuclear deal, which will grant Tehran sanctions relief in exchange for curbs on its nuclear program, an Iranian diplomat said on Tuesday.
