Mortgage lending referral in WA?

I'm not sure if this is the right place but, I'm getting ready, finally, to buy another house after giving my last one to my ex hub.
I'll qualify as a first time home buyer again, which is helpful, credit is good, income is good...

I want to actually choose a lender that aligns with my progressive values, that is ethical, that is customer-centric....someone who wont bait and switch me at the last minute....

is there such a thing?

Highline College in lockdown after reports of gunfire on campus

Stop Workplace Bullying - Call To Action!

Hello all -

Today we march to Westlake Park in hopes of changing the world for the better, not only for women but for all.
I will be there with a group of co-workers, asking for help in stopping workplace bullying!

What is workplace bullying?


We currently have a Senate Bill 5423 that will be reviewed by the Labor and Commerce Committee next week. In order to make a bill into law it has to first pass out of committee with a recommendation to pass. If it does not pass out of committee it dies and we will have to reintroduce the bill again next year.

Christmas occurances and ponderings...

So many weird things have happened in the last few days that have been...thought provoking, to say the least....

First...encounter with a Trump voter:
Hubby texts his brother...'hey you should come visit sometime'
Brother(combat veteran, now officer) responds : "why the fuck would I visit Seattle where there's tranny protestors and women with pussy hats'
Hubby responds 'so much hate in your heart that there's no room for your brother?' (no reply so far)

Second.... encounter with the 1%
Hubby had been approached by a wealthy business owner about opening up a shop....hubby brought this rich guy to a shop that's closing to buy out all their unsold inventory...rich guy and old shop owner and negotiating a quarter million dollar purchase...rich guy doesn't even flinch at these kind of numbers....then he and hubby grab coffee at McDonald's after....rich guy starts browsing for coupons for freaking McDonald's coffee.....wtf....it's like they are just wired differently...

Third....encounter with the senior health system (Medicaid)
My mom nearly died on December 3...(again) she's been transferred from facility to facility as her recovery improved.....yesterday, she was sent to a skilled nursing facility in Tacoma....I went to see her and was horrified....dark, gloomy....and the smell was horriffic....it was like I was walking in a place that was for the not quite living.... And I had to leave my mom there....

I'm left feeling like what has America become....

a friend just had to flee for his life....from Idaho

Two years ago a friend and his girlfriend and new baby, moved to Hayden, Idaho to be near her family, so she had support while he underwent cancer treatment....

He just moved back...without them. He's Puerto Rican...

He said when the first moved there it wasnt quite as bad but once Trump got elected...they went nuts.... He said every time he went and public someone made a comment about his race, he said a couple in a store, all decked out in camouflage walked up as he was pushing his baby and said 'oh what a cute beaner baby'

Said his car was spit on every day....he couldn't make any friends because their 'reputation' would be ruined if they were his friend....his girlfriend's family told him he 'didnt fit the image' for the family....it actually broke them up for 9 months, after which the mother told her daughter '..well, now that I got rid of him...'

He said he was certain that if he stayed there, he would have been hung.

So he left...he will set up a place here and bring them home...

Trump's America..... festering like flesh eating bacteria in Idaho.....

Wtf....seriously....this shit is so obviously wrong...
