Hi all! I have been a lurker on this site for a long time and feel it is time for me to really join this online community. I'm a 41 year-old male in San Diego, CA. I have been a student of politics since I was 13 years old. The first candidate I ever supported for president was Republican Senator Arlen Specter in 1995. In fact, I was a pretty hard core Republican until I fell in love with my socialist husband in 2002. I now consider myself a proud Democrat and progressive. My interests are Philosophy, science, music, and writing.
