42. The US is awash in gun stores

I'd bet money that, in every city Dick's has stopped selling AR's, there are multiple smaller retailers selling them. Hell, most gun ranges also double as firearms dealers, and can order anything you want through the mail (still have to do a background check when paying for it).

Bear in mind that Dick's was only selling assault rifles in a few dozen stores when they made this decision. They stopped being a national seller of these guns years ago.
