41. Wow, broadbrush much? If I had a go at Boomers like that I would be lit the hell up.

My cohort (18 to 32, I am almost 26) in 2020 had the biggest turnout in history since the US lowered the voting age to 18, and we overwhelmingly voted Blue. Boomers and up as a cohort voted Red by clear majorities.

In 2024, Millennials and Gen Z will equal Boomers and up in terms of actual votes, not just numbers of eligible voters. Add in Xennials/Carter babys (micro gen born 1977-1980) and we will clearly outvote them. (I am a Zillennial, born in late 1996, within 2 months and a few days of the Millennial Gen ending and Gen Z starting, the Zillennial birth years are now accepted to be around 1992/3 to 1998/99).

Anyone who uses DU as their primary source of info about us younger (40 and under, and expecially 30 and under) folk in general (not just politics) is not being well served. This board is crazy tilted to the older cohorts. Go look at the 'What's your age' OP polls. I myself will soon no longer be in the 25yo and under choice on those polls (there are hardly any of us here as it is).
