(33,473 posts)35. I'm 59. I've had the Shingrix series since it was 1st available, in 2006.
I was 42. I forced the issue as I'd had Shingles twice in my youth and my doctor was happy to write a scrip.
NOT getting it is irresponsible.

My husband wasn't bothered much, but I (normally not much bothered by vaxes) was clobbered...

It was two shots a couple years ago when I got it. Only a sore arm for me at the worst.

Exercise always makes vaccines easier for me. Especially upper body keeps aches away mostly.

My anti-vaxxer nephew got shingles. THEN after it cleared he got the Shingles vax.
