Hi everyone -- welcome back to the new look DU!

Many of you have already tried this out during testing, but for those who haven't the above image should help you get started.

The changes to the site are mostly visual. Posting works the same way, the rules and Jury system are the same as before, and all your personal pages (Bookmarks, Inbox, Journal, Posts, etc.) have been preserved and work the same way as before.

Please be aware that despite all the testing we've done, you may run into errors and glitches. We expect this to happen during the post-update phase, and we appreciate your patience while we deal with any issues that come up.

If you run into problems or have any questions, please use the DU Community Help forum, which can now be found via Navigate > Help & Search.

Other than that, don't be afraid to click around and explore! You'll quickly run into all the pages that you're used to. And aside from the visual overhaul, you will find a number of small improvements to many of those pages. Just a few examples: You can select multiple DU Mail messages for deletion at the same time; you can subscribe to people as well as forums; you can recommend replies; there are new visual options in Account Settings; there are new formatting options when posting; and more.

This has been a very long project and we're delighted that it's finally available for everyone to use. We hope you like it! And while I'm here I should probably make a shameless plug: If you feel like kicking into the DU tip jar, now is a great time to get or renew a Star Membership.
