35. Well, the Statue of Liberty was technically assembled in America.

(Sarcasm, of course)

The statue was first assembled in France. Then, it was disassembled and brought over in hundreds of parts by ship. It was rebuilt at its final position.

Gustav Eiffel was involved in the project as well - he designed the interior frame of the statue.
