Continuing the war in Gaza will not achieve its intended end. [View all]

Israeli government now talking about re-settling the population of Gaza. That's not going to sit well anywhere, except among extremists.

The war and the bombing will not resolve the issues that caused them in the first place, they only make the extremists on each side more determined to get their way. So how do we look at this?

All along the coast of Saudi Arabia are Arabic countries, shiekdoms, not Democracies, where wealth concentrated among the small population has produced vrtually unlimited prosperity. Look at the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, even Saudi Arabia. Compare ariel views of those cities to Gaza. It almost begs the question, if the Palestinians and their freedom were as important to the Arab world as their money, Gaza would be a glittering spectacle of skyscrapers along the Mediterranean coast, and even a conservative Israeli government would consent to that kind of investment in the West Bank.

As it is, it's difficult for Gazans to even cross the border into Egypt. Something's just not right there. One thing is for sure. Even when Israel ends this war, on whatever terms they get, there will be another October 7th somewhere, at some time.
