Non MAGA Republicans have a problem. [View all]

I'm not sure what a nonMAGA Republican even looks like nowadays. Maybe, they are simply the ones not wearing a red Trump hat made in China.

At any rate, you wake up one morning and discover that the RNC has been infested by Trump, and has moved to Florida in order to make it easier for Trump to administer his will. Your national committee is now a Trump piggybank. They will be sending you requests for donations every week. You don't like it, but you dislike Dems, can't see a good third party choice, and now you are uneasy.

Nothing is working for you. You don't understand why they destroyed the bipartisan border bill, don't like their refusal to aid Ukraine even though that makes perfect sense to you, and you are sick to death of the likes of MTG, an idiot about to ascend to the Speaker's Chair. Your depression mounts, the sun doesn't shine on you anymore, but you still have kids to feed, old folks to care for, and bills to pay.

What do you do? You don't want your Red neighbors to find out, so you quietly reregister as a Democrat. That's right, you join a sane and straight forward party with YOU in mind, not paying Trump's bills. You continue to masquerade as a Repub, saying to callers, "I donated last week," as you build confidence in your choice. You start to hold your head up, and a little beam of light is seen shining on you, at last. Maybe one day, within your lifetime, you can return to calling yourself a Repub without any shame or fear, but for now, you have become a Secret Dem, determined to vote and restore sanity to the Government. That's what you do.
