(25,995 posts)I'm on SS, so with me that part is kinda messy because the calculations are goofy. You do need a calculator. However, just slowly follow the instructions and things should be OK.
You can also file online directly with the IRS.
However, I would probably just do it on paper first. You can either mail it in or log in to the IRS.
I think you can do it.
We've never hired anyone or used an app or service. We've been married 39 years. Own a home. I have SS. Gather everything you need and start filling out the forms. You can take as many IRS forms as you want. Practice makes perfect.

One site near me is available until Dec, but most are closing after Apr 15th.
