There's no excuse to give you back a crippled computer.
Find a REPUTABLE person (or any teenager!) who will come to your HOME
to help you get things back in place. I could probably do it in under 2hrs, if I
came...but walking you through it is hugely impractical. In THIS case, whomever you choose
will need the precise information only available by sitting in front of your computer him/herself.
If it were a single problem it could probably be done remotely. This is essentially rebuilding your
personal system.
HTH.
A thought for your current predicament...Borrow someone else's computer for this tax thing..
Another thought: Public Libraries often offer online printing services so you could send the pages
to the library to print and pick them up later...
All is not lost, talk to friends and acquaintances and find your tech!
