Actually had a tornado in the area last week — and my neighborhood was just outside the warning zone. Was wondering why the sirens didn’t sound loud enough, until checked the alert map and saw we were 3-4 blocks south of the line.

I’ve been here ( NE Kansas) town for 21 years, and last week was only the third time I’ve heard the sirens go off for real. With only one tornado touching down on SW side of town.
