Rick Wilson of The Lincoln Project is optimistic. [View all]

Florida passed a six week abortion ban, but the right to one is on that state’s ballot in November. That will be a turnout driver making Florida in play. Trump will have to defend a state that he normally wouldn’t have to.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of GOP voters are still turning out in swing states’ primaries to vote against Trump.

The economy is improving and Biden looks like he wants to help Americans by eliminating all those gouging fees.

While everything is catching up with Trump and when he’s not in court, he’s on Truth Social whining about how terrible America is. He’s lost his swagger just looks like a tired, old man.

We can’t let our guard down, but Rick makes a good case for optimism.
