Should Democratic Underground retire its Cleveland Indians avatar? [View all]

The "racist Cleveland Indians fans" threads made me wonder: given that many feel the Indians mascot to be racist, is it appropriate on a progressive website to have this as one of the pre-programmed avatars available for members to use?
