(10,007 posts)25. Having been part of the greek system at my university, I can attest that nearly every fraternity
has songs like that. Sororities also. They are an exercise in offensiveness for offensiveness' sake, sort of like lowbrow juvenile misogynistic performance art. College-aged people often lack the awareness to realize exactly how crass they are.
The culture that creates this kind of insensitivity needs to be eliminated. Over time, I think it will be, but old cultures die hard.
