Who benefits more from government, the rich or poor? [View all]

I say the rich, but I'd really like to see a study that clearly and simply illustrates this.

My favorite example is the 59% of our Federal budget spent on defense. You really didn't think we were spending all that money to protect the assets of the poor, did you?

Anybody have any good data / charts / graphs on this topic???
