The News Cycle and Short Attention Spans: Obama Team Needs More Ammo [View all]

Not 'more' because there is any lack of ammo against Romney, but because the news cycle and those who consume it demand diversity and quick turnaround. This is due in part to "short-attention spans", but it is also due to the 24/7, global-news availability that allows us to consume, digest, and assimilate every new idea and event we want to as soon as digitally possible. With this in mind, I would like to see them mix up the Romney messages and put out some new stuff. There is an opportunity to build a composite of his complete absence of financial loyalty to community or nation and his sociopathic bullying and competitiveness showing the country a bigger picture of who this candidate is and what he represents.

The tax issue and Bain must continue to be hammered, but I think they could add more color and texture to the attacks and I hope they do so soon.

Let's stay focused on the tax and Bain issues (almost) exclusively.
