A pay raise bill has been introduced in the House that should pass. It will then go to the Senate where the Senate R’s are likely to make amendments bringing back the bill that was just defeated. If that happens the teachers/service personnel will walk again. We fought to kill a bill that would have given us a 5% pay raise; that should tell you how bad the original bill was. The Senate leader Mitch Carmichael and the Education leader are beholden to ALEC and the Koch brothers. #55United
