so, had a previous thread about the annual ms walk, which i am happy to b able to do again this year. i am so grateful for the du’er who have already given.

my dear friend roberta miles.

while i walk for my sister, who we lost to this curse, i walk w my dear friend, roberta miles. how she manages to be so amazing despite her ms is a deep, deep mystery to me.
she is an amazing jazz singer, story teller, artist, teacher, grandmother and friend, she is the producer of several long running ensemble shows.
my personal favorite is loose chicks. 5 minute stories from amazing women. i was honored to tell a story on stage for the first time with the chicks in oct 22. there is also beast women. a variety show, featuring anything women do. music, comedy, performance poetry, sword swallowing. you never know.
there is also cabaret cabaret, a burlesque show. and shows and sales of her paintings. and art lessons for kids and adults.
and above all, an amazing annual gala for ms, a gathering of outrageous souls.

also, she has great taste in husbands. her hubby is my voice teacher.
you see what i mean? how?
well, in part with help from me. i am there for her when she needs me, and i am honored to walk by her side.

but i am going to outraise her.
