(41 posts)44. It's been one month since my beloved dog died and I cry every day
He was delightful, loving, and such an amazing companion for 13 years. It's so hard. I see him everywhere in the house, the yard, even at work where he'd come along with me a few time every semester. The students loved him, reminding them of their own pets at home. He knew when we were sad or sick, sticking with us as we healed. If only he could have been healed. I feel like we let him down. I held him to the end, kissing him And telling him how much I loved him.
How can our home be so empty with the loss of a 15 lb dog? My heart has never felt so much pain.
I am sending you soft and kind thoughts. Namaste
