14. Ear buds get on my nerves.

I went for the ones that'll keep my ears from freezing in the winter. Plus the knob to control the volume is on the side of my head, which is pretty cool in my book.

My husband says I talk a lot louder with them on. Which I think is a good thing considering how soft I usually speak. And I kind of hate that I speak so low. I mean, I've been in support groups before and every time there is someone hard of hearing, they drop out. You can't ask a bunch of depressed people with low self esteem to talk louder.
