Found a lump on kitty Jules' hip [View all]

It is on her right hip and it is about the size of a large pea. It is causing her no pain.

This saddens me greatly as she is getting a bit old now and has now developed allergic dermatitis as well (to fleas or is it something else?).

The old vet I've been going to for 22 years just retired. The last time I went to this hospital that he used to run, it was rather chaotic. They shot her up with prednisone, charged me $87.00 and off we went. The allergic dermatitis is a lot better now and just when I was getting hopeful the the end is in sight for her suffering, I find this lump on her hip last night.

I think I'll try another vet closer to where I live (and she has a record at this other place as well) and see what the diagnosis is.

Please think good thoughts for kitty Jules. She's my girl and I think I'd about die without her.

Any thoughts/positive advice is appreciated.
