He first ran for president 27 years ago. He obviously wants the job, and thinks enough of himself to think he can win it. The only reason he'd stay out is if he's convinced he has very little chance of winning.

I personally wouldn't support him myself. He'd be in fourth place at best on my list behind Clinton, Sanders, and O'Malley (not necessarily in that order).
