She endured and persisted....broke away from a heinous captor, and is an inspiration to other women, and men, in such an abusive relationship.
I confess to being abusive to my wife emotionally....very probably due to my infantry tour in Vietnam. There was no such recognition of PTSD back then. But my point would be if he, or she, ever purposefully harmed you physically....that should be "immediate walking papers". Might break both your hearts in the short run, but it could be years of pain and misery if you stay. I think Tina would probably agree.
