What was truly mindblowing for me was hearing Trump's RNC chairman include Ukraine among China and Iran as one of our "aggressive adversaries" on Fox "News". I am old enough to remember the tail end of the Cold War and the early career of Newt Gingrich as a neo-McCarthyite red-baiter. Now the far-right sets new lows in servility to tyrants, including those like Putin who pine for the glory days of the old USSR. How times have changed!
