The reddit crowd is part of the MGTOW movement more closer to PUA.

They call themselves red pillers but they are purple in that they still seek validation and approval of females to fuel their own self worth. My self worth is fueled for example by helping my neighbors not how many women I can score with. The purple pillers are still stuck in the blue pill world but still have some red pill tendencies.

The MGTOW website is a new website fairly recently added.
