8. Money saving technique?

It doesn't make sense that since the school has access to the records of their students that the donation requests would be sent to anyone expelled. That should be an automatic opt out.

I'm guessing it's a money saving technique, perhaps less time consuming to blast to all names on some quick and dirty internal list, and that cross correlating that list to academic or disciplinary records for automatic opt out makes it more difficult, though with computers, it could be as easy as pressing a button or two.

I don't think I'm buying the idea that they didn't want to mail their former expelled students. It sure would be nice if corporations would GET A HEART!
