and each state varies on which states they honor. Personally, why should Wyoming have to let Don Imus or Donald Trump(NY permits are not valid in Wyoming, neither are Kansas, California among others) think they can panic and start shooting some moose minding their own business?
If you live in Vermont, you are safer than most states.
If you live in El Paso, you are safer than many Canadian cities.
